What is NC SAVAN?
The North Carolina Statewide Automated Victim Assistance and Notification (NC SAVAN) program provides access to victim assistance resources, offender custody status information, and automated offender notifications.

Resources and Custody Status Information can be found on the internet or by calling a toll-free telephone number.
Telephone Resources and to Register for Notification
By calling the toll-free number 877-NCSAVAN (1-877-627-2826), victims can speak to a live operator at anytime, to learn about victim assistance resources in their area, to register for notification or to ask questions about a notification that has been received, or to learn about an offenders custody status. Translation services in many languages are available at no cost.

Automated Notifications
A victim can register to receive automated notifications when the custody status of an offender changes. Email and phone notifications are provided in English and Spanish languages.
